Our Practice Philosophy
Our practice is founded on the conviction that the work we do is extremely important. The importance of this work is made clear by looking at its three components:
--Helping sick children feel better
--Helping healthy children stay healthy
--Helping parents become competent and confident in their parenting skills
We believe in a "holistic" approach to pediatric care, beyond the mere treatment of disease. For that reason, we feel that such matters as nutrition, sleep, physical fitness, child development, and behavioral issues are also vital areas of concern. Finally, we place a special emphasis on being available to our patients and their families with extended hours, easy phone access, and same-day sick appointments. We don't pretend to always be "healers", but we do make a point of seeing children through their illness.

A Brief History of Our Practice
Our practice was established in 1981 by Dr. Bruce Bedingfield. Dr Debora Rosewell joined in 1987, and the practice was incorporated as Drs Bedingfield and Rosewell SC in 1990. Dr Joy Silver, a long-established pediatrician from North Suburban Clinic joined the practice when that clinic closed in 2001. Dr. Shannon Nourbash joined from another local pediatric practice in 2005. Dr. Krystal Rosewell (married to "Dr. Deb's" son, Andrew) joined us in November, 2014. Finally, Dr. Eraj Din joined our practice in August 2019.
Meredith Pike joined our practice as our first pediatric nurse practitioner in 1997, after serving an internship here during her training. Gail Bedingfield joined as a nurse practitioner in 2005 (although she has played various roles, including serving as our very first nurse!) Kim Pieczynski joined in 2013. We have been at our current location at the Northwest Corporate Center in Hoffman Estates since 2002.
