In Office Lactation Consultation Now Available
Our office is now offering lactation consultations. Pam Hirsch, BSN, RN, IBCLC, provides consultations for breast feeding moms, meeting them at our office at a mutually convenient time. Her consultations will also include at least a brief visit with one of our physicians or nurse practitioners.
Pam has extensive experience as a lactation consultant, and achieved certifications in the mid 80's. In fact, she was the first hospital-based lactation consultant in the Chicago area having created, implemented, and directed St. Alexius Medical Center's lactation program in 1986. She is both a national speaker and a published author on lactation topics.
Pam has been associated with our practice in various ways since 1986. Throughout that time, we have had great respect for her lactation expertise. We are delighted to provide in-office lactation consults by Pam Hirsch.
